Womens Health and Midwife Clinic Artwork

A huge THANK YOU to Nell from Salty Sea Art who transformed the CHWB clinic space over the weekend with this beautiful mandala artwork. Thank you for your ideas, creativity and time. Your dedication, passion and perfectionism are attributes to yourself as an artist & shines through in your artwork. Thank you for supporting our vision and we value and appreciate all that you do.

Why the team chose black and white…
Shades of black and white send the strongest signals to a baby’s brain. These strong signals can help stimulate brain growth and aid in visual development. A monochrome color scheme filled with contrasting patterns and shapes provides a newborn with the best form of visual stimulation and continues to support brain growth and development well into infancy.

Why the team chose Mandala…
Mandalas, meaning “circles” in Sanskrit, are sacred symbols that are used for meditation, healing and art therapy for both adults and children. Mandalas have been shown in clinical studies to boost the immune system, reduce stress and pain, lower blood pressure, promote sleep and ease depression.

We look forward to having our clients, babies, children and families through the clinic to show off this beautiful space.
