SELFIE 🌼
This year we ran two SELFIE groups for our 11-13 years old in 2023!
Our topics this year were:
🔸 Skincare, haircare and hygiene
🔸 Healthy relations and protective behaviours with DV Counsellor Fay McInnes
🔸 Breathwork and yoga with Ali from Mindful Movement with Ali
🔸 Nutrition with Dispensed Wellness
🔸 Clay ornaments with Ems Art Collective
🔸 Cooking a creamy Tuscan chicken and rocky road
🔸 Body positivity and embracing yourself
We would like to acknowledge and thank the Department of Communities for making this possible, we are grateful to have been successful in winning the WA Youth Engagement Grant!
The Nintirri Centre and the Tom Price Arts Hub run these programs in collaboration together to empower our youth, help them build friendships and new connections, as well as creating fun and educational activities to build self-esteem!

We have some exciting things planned for the new year and can’t wait to bring SELFIE back in 2024.
