The Nintirri Centre Inc is a not-for-profit community-based organisation in Tom Price, employing over 40 staff and providing core services within Tom Price and the wider Pilbara. These services include Early Childhood Education, Community Health and well-being, Community Resource Centre, Supporting the Karijini Experience, Tom Price Arts Hub, Family Domestic Violence Prevention, Playgroup, Community Op Shop, and more.
About the Roles
Nintirri Early Learning Centre is currently seeking expressions of interest from qualified OSHC Educators. Responsibilities
In this role you will bring your passion for working with children in our After School Care Programme and provide quality education and/or care services:
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with parents, staff, community members and other key stakeholders.
- Guide and support assisting staff.
- Work as part of a team.
- Ensure compliance with legislative and licensing bodies.
- Comply with the Care and Protection of Children regulations.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
Selection Criteria
To be considered for those roles you will:
- Have relevant qualifications and experience in a similar role (essential);
- Have, or be able to obtain, a Working with Children Check and Federal Police Clearance (essential);
- Possess the ability to form warm, responsive relationships with children;
- Be able to demonstrate a high level of verbal and written communication skills; and
- Show initiative and capacity to work with minimal supervision but as part of a team.
