Men’s Health Week

The Team at The Nintirri Centre would like to acknowledge and support Men's Health Week this year.

Why talk about Men’s Health?

More men die at every stage of life compared to women, with men more likely to have accidents, take their own life and suffer from lifestyle-related health conditions than females of the same age.

Men’s Health Week aims to change this narrative by spreading awareness of Men’s Health needs and outcomes around the country each June.

This year Men’s Health Week focuses on what it means to have a TEAM.

Social Connection can be a great way to prioritise your health by staying connected with others. Groups such as Men’s Sheds, sporting, music and volunteer groups are a great way to connect with others.

Aimee from the CHWB Team at Nintirri will be down at the Men’s Shed tomorrow morning with some Free Men’s Health Packs to give away, acknowledging and supporting the vital role the Men’s Shed plays in our community to support Men and their health and wellbeing.

See you there!
