School Readiness Program

Our School Readiness Program aims to help children develop skills such as cooperation, sharing, participation, as well as the development of play skills, self-esteem and confidence within a safe, non-threatening fun environment.

It also to help children cope with separating from parents before the formal school years begin.

The children are offered a structured daily routine that provides them with a feeling of security. Each day involves indoor learning discovery, outdoor learning exploration and collaboration at group times. Due to the needs, interest and personalities of the particular group of children, the amount of time spent in each of these aspects of the program can differ.

The children are encouraged to explore a variety of activities within a flexible but structured program.  In our program, children will:

  • Socialise with others and develop friendships
  • Share and play in groups
  • Learn simple tasks, such as puzzles, songs and games
  • Develop listening skills and follow instructions
  • Gain self-confidence and independence
  • Develop fine and gross motor skills
  • Enjoy a variety of tactile experiences
  • Enjoy learning about colours, shapes and number through games and craft
  • And most importantly, have fun!!

All these skills will benefit your child and prepare them for formal kindergarten.
